The history of Stone Court House is rich and fascinating, having transitioned from a medieval manor to a Crown Judges' lodging. After years of neglect, we revived this historic building, allowing guests to experience its grandeur while appreciating the meticulous restoration carried out by our family.

Awards

Stone Court House opened in June 2022, following a multi-million-pound restoration to save this nationally important building. We're now rated the #1 hotel in Maidstone on Booking.com, Hotels.com, Expedia and Airbnb — and have won TripAdvisor's Travellers' Choice Award three years running (2024–2026), placing us in the top 10% of hotels worldwide.
